What Are Clinical Trials?
A cancer clinical trial is a study to develop new treatments for cancer. Some clinical trials give new treatment options when standard therapies are no longer working.
All clinical trials have patient eligibility criteria, based on factors such as type of cancer, stage of disease, previous treatment history, and other medical conditions.
